Systemagic play an important
part in the local community by providing IT services to local
charities and by working closely with organisations who promote
business and enterprise to young people.
One such organisation is Young
Enterprise which arranges for groups of school pupils
to set up and run their own business throughout the course
of a school year.. Systemagic provides business advisers who
work alongside the students and we also donate the "Systemagic
Prize for the best use of IT" to the company who
utilises modern technology during the course of their business.
A prize is also donated each
year to a pupil at Beechen
Cliff School in Bath as the "Systemagic Prize
for ICT in Year 11". This is presented at the school
presentation evening. We provide annual work experience placements
for year 11 students and have also given talks to groups of
students at careers evenings and school assemblies.
We also provide a number
of work experience placements each year to students from the
local area. These students work with our IT and Web teams
to gain a better understanding of how our business works.
